Daniel Hall is the man responsible
for this new eBook Speakers Cruise Free. His purpose is to make the reader
aware of the ‘Enrichment Speakers’ market and how to become one. I will
admit that before I came to the site and read the eBook, I was unaware of
such a market. Therefore, Daniel has been successful in his purpose.
Daniel Hall is probably an unheard
of name in the public speaking arena. Apart from this book, he has done very
little in terms of professional public speaking. Daniel is a qualified
lawyer, and obviously he has had a lot of speaking experience in the
courtroom. He is also President of a property company and has been
performing lectures on cruise ships for the last three years.
What you get is an 137 page eBook,
detailing what is the ‘enrichment speaking market’, what type of speeches
are wanted on cruise ships, how to become an enrichment speaker and
consequently how to get free cruises. Speakers Cruise Free also includes a
number of bonuses, including mp3 interviews, an eBook on how to record and
edit video, The Savvy Paupers Cruise Guide eBook, and The Art Of Money
Getting.
Speakers Cruise Free is probably
worth less than $97, but nevertheless it is reasonable value for money.
eBooks are always hard to put value on, so I won’t criticise openly about
the price. However, on the website it is stated that it was originally going
to be priced at $297, and this would have been way too expensive. So hats
off to Daniel for lowering the price to something more acceptable.
Speakers Cruise Free is an easy,
entertaining and an informal read. I read the book in one sitting and I was
kept interested until the end. There has a good, clear format and structure
and it has been very well written. The most important part of this product
should have been the information on who to call to become an enrichment
speaker on each cruise line, and Daniel Hall has delivered. Unfortunately,
most of information is for American cruise ships, so for an Australian like
myself I will have to do my own research.
However, in some other sections he
is pretty vague. I would have thought that there should have been more
information about how to effectively deliver your lecture. After all, the
only way that you are going to be invited back is if you deliver a good
speech on the cruise! His public speaking tips and how to overcome public
speaking fear are incredibly vague to such an extent that it would have been
better if they were not included in the book at all.
The bonuses are of a poor quality as
well. The mp3 interviews were very good, but the rest of the bonuses are
either lacking substance or completely irrelevant. (Note: I did find the
bonus eBook The Art Of Money Getting very interesting, but being objective,
it does not improve my public speaking skills or speaking on cruise ships
for free one bit.)
Admittedly, I have not applied any
of the techniques yet so I cannot comment as to whether the information
Daniel provides works or not. (Daniel talks about a cruise experience where
he was delivering his lecture when they were travelling though 17 foot
waves! Definitely not for me!) However I find it a very interesting read and
I would recommend it to anyone to take a look. Daniel makes it sound so easy
(which has both positive and negative connotations). Daniel has successfully
opened my eyes to a new public speaking market, and I hope that he follows
this up with another public speaking product.
